ABOUT US ALAMO SUN DRIED BEEF

Alamo Sun Dried Beef is a family-owned business established in 2018 in the outskirts of San Antonio, Texas. Co-owner, Luis Angel Zuazua, is an experienced entrepreneur who owned and operated a dried meat manufacturing plant in Mexico for 8 years. He dreamt of introducing Mexico’s delicious machacado to the United States and decided to start Alamo Sun Dried Beef alongside his son, David A. Zuazua.

David, who had been living and working in Texas for over 10 years, realized Mexico’s strong cultural influence in the region and was thrilled to create a meat product that would further pay tribute to the native Mexican traditions of his community. Together they have set out to deliver a delicious and healthy product that is reminiscent of savory, authentic Mexican cuisine.
